[Name] watched as the members of the Survey Corps sat nervously on their horses. She could pick out each of her friends individually from the crowd of green cloaks. There was the muscular Reiner, and giant Bertolt. Eren, Sasha... Most of them were there.

It hasn't been long when she found out that they were the new batch of soldiers joining into the Legion. The truth had shock her of course, especially when Jean was one of them. [Name] was confused of course, but then she realized that he had join because of what happened to their freckled friend. [Name] still had suspicions of whether Jean still held a small grudge against her, but he said that he was 'over it'.

     "Are you still mad?"

"...Sort of. But his death wasn't your fault... You tried your best."

     "I'm sorry!"

"Stop apologizing. It's not your fault. I was bitching about it, and I let it out on you."

     "Bu—"

"Look, I'm not mad, alright?! I realized what I did a while back, and I'm sorry. Even if we are soldiers, we can't always save everyone."

But by just hearing his voice and seeing his expression, she could tell his entire life took a sharp turn. [Name] still felt guilty about it. Not being able to make it to her friend in time. Not being able to at least stop the Titan in time from taking a bite.

Not being able to make it in time.

She had talked to her friends the day before, privately of course. They were all surprised that [Name] suddenly appeared and was already in the Legion. Questions were asked, compliments here and there... Maybe a few tears. [Name] gave them best wished, and told them not to die out there in the expedition.

The wishes were also given to Levi and his squad, along with the other people she knew like Erwin and Mike. Now the day was here, and they were all one their horses, facing the gate. The Commander's strategy formation was being used, where each group would need to shoot a certain flare when a Titan is spotted.

The bell that was hung in a tower then began to ring across the entire district, indicating that the Corps were going out, and the gates were going to open. The residents around the area where the soldiers were gathered were already cleared out, lingering inside the house as the young children yet to be exposed to the horror looked outside their windows in awe.

Garrison members who operated the gates then proceeded to open the gates, the stone gate with the Wall's emblem painted on began to rise slowly. The clinking of chains were heard, and the sounds of hooves hitting against the ground began to increase.

     "Advance!"

[Name] watched as the entire Legion began to run through the gate, the view of the everyone quickly disappearing within a few blinks.

[Name] stuffed her hand in her pocket. She was wearing civilian clothes to attract less attention to herself. Inside her pocket, a folded up piece of paper was clutched inside her hand. It was the letter that Commander Erwin had sent to her before the expedition.

The one that told her that she was forbidden to go on the 57th Expedition.

She still had the urge of wanting to get on [h/n] and follow the Survey Corps secretively, but that wasn't the orders given.

Erwin's letter mattered much more this time.

[Name] took the paper out, and unfolded it with ease. Erwin's writing was plastered on the piece of paper, all the letters and words aligned straightly. She began to read it once again for the umpteenth time.

Dear Cadet [Name] [Last],

I have come to a conclusion that
you are prohibited from joining operations in the upcoming expedition. Your skills are needed else where, in which you will find very amusing to you.

An informant of mine that visits the Underground occasionally had picked up some information of a man hiding out in a small tunnel. My informant has mentioned that she had heard them speaking of the Lance Corporal, and how he was famous underground. The conversation quickly lead to death threats, also mentioning the piece of paper that had been given to you.

His location moves every now and then, so you must make a move. A few soldiers of the Regiment have already taken care of the spies that were trailing you, so feel free to roam around.

     Commander Erwin Smith

Cracking her hands, [Name] put on a smirk and pulled up her hood. She stuffed a knife in her boots, and hid a pistol inside her clothes. She was all decked out, different kinds of weapons hidden all over.

     "But why?!"

"Because I do not want to risk losing a few of our good soldiers," Erwin answered suddenly, appearing at the doorway. [Name]'s head snapped towards him, her eyes gleaming with anger. The Commander just gave her the same neutral expression, his blue eyes hiding what he was thinking underneath. "As I said, you are not allowed to come."

"You think this is some game?! My friends are going on that expedition! They're risk rate of getting killed rose expectantly, and you expect me to just stand by over here and wait for them to return injured critically?! Or even dead? I won't let them die!"

"That man who asked you to kill your brother." [Name]'s shouting stopped there, and her mouth was glued closed. She just glared at Erwin, waiting for what he was going to say. "If you didn't kill him, your friends will die. That's why you're not attending the expedition.

"If you want to protect your friends, get rid of the original threat."

     [Name] sighed.

     "Time to get started."

All of the members of the SC were nervous of course, especially the recruits that just came fresh out of training. Within a period of time they had to learn the formation that they were going to be using during the expedition, and each position and squad individually. As the bell's rings echoed loudly in the air, Eren gripped the reins of his horse tightly.

This was it. The members that decided to join from the Trainee Squad, this was their first expedition. But it could also be their last. Their first look outside the Walls would begin once the run through the abandoned place just outside. How long would they survive? Will they make it back?

The gates began to pull up, revealing the broken buildings on the other side. From what Eren and the others could see, rubble were on the pathways, dry blood scattered here and there. Rooves were caved in, trees were torn down...

Erwin's voice then interrupted his thoughts, with the order to advance forward. The horses began to trot forward, eventually breaking into a run. As the entire Legion began to go through the gates, the Commander shouted once again, but this time in somewhat motivation.

     "Onward!"

The looks were way worse close up. You could see a few bodies hidden around if you look closely, the giants had obviously attacked the area a while back. The small town must be deserted already. No life was shown, no recent human activity.

Titans were still around, and the Support Team had already been sent out to defeat a 10 meter Titan that was lingering by. Hanji had to refuse the urge to jump in, for that the image of what was inside a Titan's stomach was already beginning to get to her. All the experiments that she could do!

Jean looked back as he lurched forward. He watched as the Support Team got off their horses, and launched forward to the Titan that was just right beside them. He gulped. He thought he would never see another Titan again. He didn't want to. But his life took a turn, and he went with it.

He looked forward again, trying to ignore the shouts from the support soldiers. Jean wanted to help. But he couldn't. He had to continue forward without looking back. Even if he wanted to help, he couldn't move. Face front, he urged himself.

Soon enough, Erwin gave out the orders for everyone to split up into their ordered groups. The Legion broke up, heading in every direction. The grassy field in front of them was soon trampled on by the horses, and dirt was kicked up. Levi's Special Operations Squad fell back into the middle, located around the back.

The 57th Expedition has officially begun.

Without looking back, the brown haired Titan Shifter could already feel his friends departing from behind him. Eren still had the feeling that people were behind him, but the only thing that was right on his horse's tail was the field. But Oluo and Petra, along with Gunther and Eld, began to fall side by side beside him, circling him for protection. He could feel Oluo glaring at him for a few moments, but Petra told him a while back that he was just trying to imitate Captain Levi.

Eren has high hopes on this mission, and he hoped that it ended well.

[Name] didn't exactly remember where the underground entrance was, but she managed to find it after flying around. She almost got caught a few times after having trouble flying (she had to practice a few times since there was a lack of free time). In the end, the entrance was around the abandoned part of Wall Rose, right at the wall where Sina began. It was noticeable, but if a person walked by they would think it was an abandoned shaft.

Walking down the steps, the space around you seemed to be more constricting, and the lighting was quickly dimming within a snap. The only thing that lit the place was the sun from above, gleaming through the wooden gates holes on the top of the ground roof. There were also torches and lanterns on buildings, but they were getting old.

It wasn't exactly how [Name] remembered, but the smell of the tainted water and unclean civilians lingered in the air. The murky water was scattered randomly, and all the stone buildings were beginning to break apart. And then there's the small fruit stand, then there's the hidden black market if you just go down there...

"[Name]! Hey!"

The girl turned around, and saw a man with dark brown hair running towards her. His clothes were surprisingly clean, along with his face. [Name] rose her eyebrows in question. "Who are you?" she asked, making sure to sound like Sasha.

The man stopped in his place, just a few feet away from her. He held a disappointing look. "You...don't remember me?"

"Who are you," [Name] growled this time, stating more than asking.

"Ah, I'm Farlan remember? Your brother's friend?"

"...Farlan?" she repeated. No she didn't remember anyone who had the name Farlan. Much or less, Levi didn't even tell her about making friends when she was suddenly tossed out onto the street.

     "Y-yeah. I'm Levi's friend."

Impossible, Levi has friends?! [Name] joked inside. But in all seriousness, was he really her brother's friend? Levi hasn't mentioned anything about having 'friends' right after she was kicked out. "Oh, I see... So, why are you here?"

"Levi told me about you a while back. I hoped that you would come back down so I could meet you. Now I could show you around."

Even if this 'Farlan' suddenly popped up, [Name] didn't feel any suspicion. If he is Levi's friend, he must of had something that made her brother interested in his skills or personality. She sighed, and then tugged at her hood so it covers more of her face. "Fine. Just tell me all the gangs around here and where they're located."

     "Sure!"

[Name] stayed silent. This man was sure peppy and seemed a bit nervous. She didn't exactly like him right away. He was too...nice and innocent. It made her feel uneasy. Why am I following him though? She felt like her guard was down, and yet she kept glancing around sensing no trouble arising.

[Name] walked steadily behind Farlan as he walked forward, looking back once in a while to see if she was still following. He pointed out areas where thieves would usually steal from, and abandoned hideouts. "Members of the military come from a small passage over there, but good thing we managed to block them off. I would usually come check if anyone from the Survey Corps would come down. Unfortunately, you weren't among them."

"Why do you care about me so much?" [Name] asked. It felt like he had an obsession with her.

"Er," Farlan began. [Name] furrowed her eyebrows, waiting for an answer. For someone like him to think about her a bit highly made her feel sick. "Levi would talk about you often before he left for the Corps."

     "Surprising."

     "Ah, here we are."

Farlan suddenly stopped in a large opening, and there wasn't as much lighting. Only a few torches were placed on the walls as the only source of light. They both had to walk into a dark tunnel to get here, and you would of needed a lantern to get through. [Name] halted, making a fist with her hands. She glanced around in suspicion. "Why did we stop?" She tensed up her arms and legs, preparing for what was going to happen next.

"Because, this is where you were headed, right?"

Something about Farlan's voice changed. It wasn't as nervous, or timid like earlier. His voice was slightly deeper, built with confidence and mischief. He turned around, facing towards [Name], with a smirk on his face. [Name]'s eyes narrowed, and she growled slightly. "You son of a bitch."

"There's no where to run." The dark haired man only smile more with a somewhat victorious expression. He had finally trapped her. His acting, the fake personality, and the lies were all good enough to at least lure Levi's sister up to this point. This was all Farlan needed.

[Name] then realized what his true intent was. The place wasn't greatly lit, the tunnel needed light to walk through without tripping. The dome was basically a death trap, for that there wasn't enough sources to walk around freely. I knew it! Knew it, knew it! I can't believe I fell for some dumb trap like this! "I'm going to kill you Farlan."

"Farlan? Please, he left the group a long time ago for your damn brother. I always thought he was the weakest one in our group. Good bye, Miss [Name]. I never liked you in the first place anyways."

Armin tried to focus on going forward, but he couldn't help being anxious. Surprisingly, there wasn't as much Titans outside the Wall as he thought, and it felt oddly quiet. He could hear his horse breathing, the tree leaves rustling. The second horse beside him ran aside him, in which was going to be used for the soldiers who's horse had left or abandoned them.

That was when a red flare fired away in the distance. Armin turned to his right, and saw the red flare swirling up in the sky, indicating that a Titan was spotted. The blond reached into the satchel on the saddle, and pulled out the round that was used for the red flare. He shot it up in the air, and soon enough the group on his left fired the following shot.

A green flare was then fired, and the entire formation began to reform in the direction the flare was aimed at.

Breathing heavily and unevenly, Sasha gripped her reins tightly. Her breath was held, and she was stiff. She urged her horse to go as fast as he can, for that there was an abnormal right on her tail. The brunette gave out a shriek as the Titan tried to bite her.

     "Blouse, over here!"

The cadet hesitated for a moment, before sharply turning towards the rest of her teammates. She felt bad, having to bring the Titan onto the rest of them, but she trusted them. The two teammates said a few things to each other, before one departed, the abnormal following him.

Sasha watched in worry as her teammate tried to shake off the abnormal off his trail, but with no avail. He then began to head straight towards a tree, glancing back occasionally. Wait, you're going to hit the tree!

At the last second, he swerved out of the tree's way, and the Crawling Titan tackled head first into the bark. Sasha's eyes widened, and she laughed in nervousness. The body of the Titan hit a small cabin right next to it, making the entire roof collapse. Sasha's teammate came back, with an expression of relief. "Sir..."

     "Back into position."

Dodging another slash from this 'Farlan', [Name] pulled out another knife from her boots. She jumped back as 'Levi's friend' attacked again, knife pointed towards her. She swerved out of harm's way, and then lunged forward. "Damn...you! Where's your boss huh?"

     Around her

"Why? Play with me some more!"

[Name] received a round house kick to the chest right after, and she coughed violently. She threw the knife in her hand towards the traitor, but only managed to form a small cut on his cheek. Son of a bitch! Pushing herself up, [Name] flipped backwards to avoid a stop to the head. She then took out a knife, but then realized that her enemy already took out a pistol.

She threw a knife at his hand, only for the knife to fly to the left. Silently cursing, [Name] didn't notice a fist flying towards her stomach. She felt all the air in her leave through her mouth, and a cough followed shortly after. Humanity's Strongest's sister was getting her ass handed to her, even she admitted it.

The [h/c] haired girl was small, and her enemy was towering over her. She was swift, and yet he was faster. The girl was at a disadvantage, sadly, and the chances of winning were getting slim each hit. She also had a last resort, but it was only to be used when she's at a vital point and sustained too many moves.

"Man, and to think that you're Levi's sister."

"Who the fuck do you think you are?" [Name] growled. Running forward, she delivered a blow to the man's solar plexus, and watched as he began to gasp for air. During those few seconds, an uppercut then hit his jaw, the force being enough to crack a few teeth inside his mouth. "You remind me of Jean. Except that you're not half the man he is now."

"My name is Aleks you ass!"

Blocking the fist that was coming towards her face, [Name] pulled the man's arm towards her, watching the elbow carefully. Delaying for a small second, she didn't have the chance to lift her knee, for that Aleks twisted her arm, and then flipped her on her back. [Name] groaned as pain shot up her back, and moved her fingers and arms to see if they were still workable.

A foot hovered right over her face, and the owner of that foot was none other than Levi's Fake Friend That Wasn't Even His Friend in the First Place, a.k.a. Aleks. There was dirt and rocks embedded between the small bumps on his boot, from what [Name] saw, and some of them were falling onto her face. Her eye twitched.

     "Any last words?"

"Yeah... Fuck you and your foot."

Within a flick, a knife shot out her sleeve, and in a rush half of it was already sunken through the material of the impostor's foot. Blood slowly leaked down the metal, red spots of blood dropping onto [Name]'s face. An intake of breath was heard from the victim, and he gave out a small screech mixed with anger and pain.

"You bitch!" Aleks flew backwards as [Name] kicked him in his damaged foot. He yelped, and he collided with the floor head first. It didn't take long before he forced himself up, hopping on one foot. [Name] could hear him whispering about her, and how he should deal with the knife sticking through his foot.

She smirked at his pain and his concentrated face. "If you take the knife out, you'll bleed out, and have a hard time moving even a bit." The sister circled around him slowly and calmly, her uneasiness fading. "If you leave it it, well, you can't really get around when hopping on one foot. You'll have to rest that leg eventually, and you perhaps won't even be close to returning to your base."

This time, it was to her advantage. She watched as Aleks painfully pulled out the knife from his foot. He took a deep intake of air, and slowly pulled it even more. [Name] grabbed the knife he threw away, and twirled it in her fingers. "Y'know, if you just tell me who your boss is, you could survive with less injuries." Halting in her steps, she watched as Aleks struggled to stand up without flinching, then falling back to the ground.

Humanity's Great Sister looked at his forehead, already imagining her weapon striking through the flesh. Thoughts clouded her mind, making her oblivious to the things around her for a few moments.

Aleks lunged forward, and grabbed her arm with a death grip, gaining a surprised yelp and a drop of a bloody knife. He pulled [Name] towards her, with the same mischievous look he had on earlier. "The trick you were trying to do earlier... It was something like this, right?"

He drove his knee upwards in an alarming speed, and made contact with her elbow. A sickening loud crack emerged from her arm, and a loud shriek followed after.

Her arm was broken. Useless. Unable to be used.

Yeh. I don't know how to end this. It might be plain stupid so please bear with it.
